Lou Fellingham is a Christian singer, songwriter, worship leader, speaker and coach who has been leading worship for over 30 years. First known as the lead singer of the band Phatfish, Lou has gone on to establish a successful solo career and continues to be a distinctive and trusted voice within the UK Church.

Throughout much of her musical journey, Lou has worked closely alongside her husband, Nathan, writing, recording and leading worship together. Songs including Holy, Holy, There Is a Day and Everlasting Arms have been sung by churches across the UK and beyond. Since her years with Phatfish, Lou has released 13 original solo projects, as well as two compilation albums. From Treasure and Promised Land through to more recent releases including Never Stop Loving and You Are My Peace, she has continued to create music that helps people encounter God and express their worship.

Lou remains passionate about serving the local church and loves leading worship in churches and at local events across the UK. Alongside this, she has had the privilege of leading worship at larger national and international gatherings, including Festival of Praise, Festival of Life, The Altar, Spring Harvest, Big Church Festival and Prom Praise. Known for her unmistakable voice, passionate worship and prophetic edge, Lou brings the same desire wherever she leads: to help people encounter God and respond to Him in worship.

For over six years, Lou has also led Worship Wednesdays, a weekly live online worship gathering on YouTube and Facebook. What began during lockdown as a way of helping the Church continue to sing has grown into a much-loved community, with people joining from around the UK and beyond to worship together each week.

Alongside her music and worship ministry, Lou is the founder of Made For You, a women’s ministry that has hosted more than 20 conferences across the UK, encouraging women in faith, identity and purpose.

Lou is also the founder and coach behind Worship Unlocked, a ministry created to encourage, equip and develop worship leaders. Through teaching, coaching and community, she helps worship leaders grow in confidence, deepen their understanding of worship and lead with greater freedom and authenticity.

Lou and Nathan continue to lead regularly in their local church and are committed to growing in their own journey with Christ. Passionate about both Word and Spirit, they long to see people encounter God, grow in faith and live fully alive in Christ.

Lou and Nathan have three children, and when she isn’t singing, speaking or leading, Lou is perhaps happiest gathering people around a table. A self-confessed feeder and hugger, hospitality, encouragement and making people feel at home are all very much part of who she is.
